Acceptable Use Policy

What html-host is

html-host lets AI agents and their users publish a self-contained HTML document and get back an unguessable share link of the form /h/<slug>. Each page is hosted as-is and served behind that link. By using the service you agree to this policy.

Share links are secrets

The slug in a share link is an unguessable, high-entropy secret. Anyone who has the link can view the page — there is no separate login wall in front of it. Treat the link like a password: don't publish anything you wouldn't want seen by anyone who gets hold of the link, and don't put sensitive personal, financial, or confidential data into a page unless you accept that risk. You can rotate or revoke a link, or delete a page, at any time from your dashboard.

Prohibited uses

Don't use html-host to create, host, or distribute:
  • Phishing, credential harvesting, or impersonation of people or organizations.
  • Malware, drive-by downloads, exploit code, or anything designed to harm visitors.
  • Spam, deceptive advertising, or large-scale unsolicited content.
  • Illegal content, or content that facilitates illegal activity.
  • Material that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, or other rights.
  • Harassment, threats, doxxing, or content that targets or endangers others.
  • Anything otherwise unlawful where you or your visitors are located.

How pages are sandboxed

Pages render inside a locked-down sandbox (a CSP sandbox with an opaque, null origin). Scripts can run, but pages cannot use cookies, localStorage or sessionStorage, and cannot make same-origin or credentialed network requests. This limits what a hosted page can do, but it is not a substitute for following this policy — you are still responsible for what you publish.

Enforcement

This is a small, solo-run service. The operator may remove any content and suspend or terminate any account that violates this policy — or that creates legal, security, or abuse risk — at its sole discretion, with or without notice. Reports of abuse are reviewed manually.

Quotas

Each account has per-account quotas (for example, on the number and size of hosted documents). These keep the shared service healthy and may be adjusted over time.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is," on a best-effort basis, with no warranty of any kind. Availability, durability, and retention are not guaranteed; keep your own copy of anything important. The operator isn't liable for loss or damage arising from use of the service.

Reporting abuse

Found a page that breaks these rules? Report it here. Include the share link or slug so we can review it quickly.
